Scene Plus, in collaboration with Thu Duc Maritime Joint Stock Company, is honored to be the pioneering unit initiating the activation of the multifunctional park chain among the 42 parks previously proposed to the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. The first project is the Thu Thiem Film Park along the Saigon River, introduced at the planning orientation seminar for the Saigon and Dong Nai riverbanks, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction.
The Film Park in Thu Thiem is not just an ordinary public space, but also plays a strategic role in the urban planning of the riverfront. It serves as a vital link between history, culture, economy, and tourism.
The Film Park will become an important stop on the river tourism route from Nha Rong Wharf and Saigon Port to destinations such as Thieng Lieng Island and Can Gio. The park space, which combines a marina, dining cruise ships, and a riverside pedestrian street, will form a new cultural–commercial riverside tourism ecosystem for the city.
