Mr. Peter Carter – Mayor of Port Hedland City, Australia, and Chairman of the Regional Capitals Australia (RCA) – visited the office of Scene Plus Architects and listened to a presentation on the infrastructure development project for waterway tourism on the Saigon River. The project, titled “Awakening the Blue Dragon” through “Dragon Acupuncture,” attracted the interest of the Mayor, who is also an urban planner, and he remarked that it was both fascinating and impressive.
Later that day, the Scene Plus team joined the Waterway Tourism Association in accompanying Mr. Peter on a survey along the Saigon River to identify the first site to activate a chain of multifunctional parks among the 42 parks previously proposed to the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee exactly one year earlier, on March 2, 2024.
