A beautiful pilgrimage destination in the Central of Vietnam, created since 17th century, Lang Song was one of three the first Vietnamese's printing houses that was published tens of thousands of books, newspapers for all three Indochina countries. Mission of the project is protective seminary as a living heritage, embellishing waterfront areas and other sites, developing trade, culture and travel activities in other to create jobs for residents and it is an interesting destination for tourists who want to resettle and provide new housing in the best conditions.
Lang Song minor seminary, where preserves the history of forming the Vietnamese national script, with outstanding architecture and landscape on rice fields are the inspiration for a community based tourism development. The idea of preserving and promoting heritage value in a new age is expressed through urban planning and design around a square, recreating the connection with the river. Pilgrimage to Lang Song is a journey to find the origin of Vietnamese modern script. By the functional spaces and light, the design aims to give visitors a sense of sacred land converging the cultural essence of the area.
